Here is a domestic garage with an Asbestos insulation board lined ceiling.

The photos show the garage set with a three stage airlock & a three stage baglock fixed to a pod over the garage door.

There is an Negative pressure unit (NPU on the rear garage door. The pulls in clean air & filters the air through a pre filter & a HEPA filter.

We have to smoke test the garage/enclosure to see if the enclosure leaks. (smoke would find any holes).

We have H type vacs & airless sprayer to supress the asbestos fibres while the board is removed & placed into red asbestos bags.

They are then double bagged into a clear asbestos bag & sealed with tape the baglock & then placed into the skip or waste van.

We have a welfare Decontamination Unit (DCU) on site for the staff to decontaminate after the removal.

Upon completion an independent 4 stage clearance is carried out by a UKAS accredited company Cert enclosed.
